André Blavier is a co-founder of the bioinformatics company Interactive Biosoftware. He is the main designer of the mutation interpration software Alamut, conceived in cooperation with the Molecular Genetics Laboratory of Rouen University Hospital, and now used by a number of labs throughout Europe. As a medical and computer scientist, his work focuses on practical software applications for healthcare, mainly in the molecular biology area.
