Bio: Yan Feng, M.S.
Dr. Yan Feng received his Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Northwestern University, working on small GTPase regulation of endocytic membrane transport. He did postdoc research with Tim Mitchison and Tommy Kirchhausen at Harvard Medical School and later became a principle investigator at the Harvard Institute of Chemistry and Cell Biology. Dr. Feng’s work in Harvard focused on using small molecule tool compounds discovered in phenotypic screens to study cellular functions. Dr. Feng is now a research investigator at the Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research. His current research combines high throughput Genomics, Proteomics and Chemical Biology tools to discover novel therapeutics.
