Are you a HUGO member?

High Content Cellular Screening Workshop 2008 marks the first of HUGO’s series of technical conferences and workshops.

Through these hands-on events, we aim to promote the adoption of new genomic technologies and methods to different parts of the world. We look forward to seeing you in Singapore!

President HUGO

High Content Cellular Screening (HCS) refers to the measurement and analysis of multi-parametric cellular phenotypes at the level of the individual cell. It is rapidly becoming a major genomics tool for complex functional genomic screens. The complex infrastructure needs for conducting HCS experiments require understanding of topics across the disciplines of biology, chemistry, physics and computer science. At this HUGO workshop, there will be HCS platform demonstrations and didactic lectures across the entire HCS workflow, including experimental design, reagent and assay development, biological validation of screen data, bioinformatics and statistical methods to analyze large datasets. Keynote speakers will describe how they use HCS technology and integrate the results with other methods in their research.
